Long Weekend in Nova Scotia

Sometime in my 20s, I traveled to Nova Scotia with my friend Pete to visit our other friend Ken. The three of us had met the summer before while traveling in Eastern Europe and decided to keep in contact. Ken lives in Nova Scotia, so he invited us to come check out his stomping grounds. As usual for my travels in my 20s, I didn't keep a travel journal or take many pictures.  Here's what I did manage to take:





The most memorable stop in our explorations of the Nova Scotia (Halifax) area was Peggy's Cove-- a charming little fishing village that's famous for the Peggy's Point Lighthouse (and sadly, a plane crash that happened off the coast of Peggy's Cove some years ago).  Here are some shots of the picturesque little community:
